Join us as we kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month! This is a rich tradition that has been commemorated in October since 1987. Every October, we take time to raise awareness about the 12 million women and men who are victims of domestic violence annually in the United States. We also take time to recognize the tireless advocates and allies. These champions   are doing outstanding work in their local communities to end intimate partner violence. They provide critical and often life-saving services to survivors and their families.
