17th ICID Travel Awards

As the 17th ICID Abstract Deadline approaches we want todraw your attention to the variety of Travel Grant Awards offered for the 17th ICID.

1. Elsevier Foundation Travel Grants For Early Career Women Scientists from Low and Lower-middle Income Countries to present research findings at the 17th ICID.
2. Sanofi Pasteur Awards for Communicable Disease Epidemiology - created to stimulate research on and emphasize the importance of applied epidemiology in the field of communicable diseases for the overall improvement of health.
3. Travel Grant Awards for Young Investigators from India: With generous support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, ISID will support approximately 100 young investigators from India to attend the 17thICID and present their work during one of the poster or oral sessions.
4. ISID New Investigator Award: A continuing award from the International Society for Infectious Diseases.
5. ProMED Awards in Emerging Infectious Diseases:
ISID is pleased to announce the establishment of ProMED Awards recognizing the best abstracts submitted in the area of Emerging Infectious Diseases.

Early registration fee deadline:	January 10, 2016

We are also excited to share the Program for the Congress to be held in Hyderabad, India on March 2-5, 2016. The program and plenary speakers encompass all fields in infectious diseases with particular attention being paid to the major infectious causes of morbidity and mortality in India and elsewhere. Diseases presented will include HIV, malaria, TB, vaccine preventable diseases, neglected diseases and many others. Current issues and the latest results of research related to these diseases will be presented in Hyderabad.
