Medical Breakthroughs: First to Know

Dog Days of Summer

I don’t know about where you are but I can tell you where I am, Florida, it’s very hot and humid. This time of year is known as the “Dog Days of Summer.” It’s probably called that because right now even my dogs don’t want to play much except very early in the morning or late in the evenings. Please be sure your pets have plenty of water and shade so they don’t suffer from heat stroke and NEVER leave them in a closed car even for a short period of time.
