Making a plan to talk with a health care provider about your psychological health concerns is an important step toward improving your overall health. If you have been through trauma or other challenges, it may be hard to talk about your experiences. A health care provider can help you understand your feelings and maintain your mental fitness.
For more than two centuries, military nurses served America – on the water, in the air and on land—in conflicts stateside and abroad. Some of these nurses were wives, slaves, college graduates, volunteers, or nuns. It wasn’t until the establishment of the Army, Navy and Air Force Nurse Corps that military nurses were trained, paid and recognized as a necessary part of the U.S. fighting force.
Members of the Armed Services Blood Program Strategic Communications and Marketing team went a “mile high” to “be a part of something good” when they traveled to the 2015 Association of Donor Recruitment Professionals Conference in Denver, Colo.
